2016. aasta kokkuvõte

Üks aasta on jällegi läbi saanud ja seepärast on käes traditsiooniline kokkuvõtete tegemise aeg. Minu 2016. aasta eesmärgiks oli lugeda läbi 100 raamatut, mille suutsin ületada tervelt 50nega. Olen selle tulemusega ülirahul ning 150 on täpselt selline kogus, mis annab väga erinevaid lugemiselamusi. Parimatest raamatutest nimetaksin näiteks:

Kui üldiselt on nii, et jätan mittemeeldiva raamatu juba esimeste lehekülgede järel pooleli ja edasi ei loe, siis sel aastal sattus nimekirja ka üks, mida ma järjekindlalt lõpuni lugesin, sest lootsin, et lõpuks ometi läheb paremaks. Ei läinud. Nii et minupoolne hoiatus oleks mitte lugeda Mark Tompkinsi "The Last Days of Magic" ja omal vastutusel võite lugeda C. S. Pacati "Captive Prince" (Captive Prince I), mis pole küll halb raamat, aga ilma eelteadmisteta võib suure üllatuse valmistada.
Hea lugemisaasta oli.
